Top: Rosa Mexicano's finest. Bottom: Our ingredients ready to mix.
A few months ago, B and I went to Rosa Mexicano and had their amazing made-to-order guacamole. It was so tasty, yet expensive, that it inspired us to try and recreate it in the kitchen. They even have the recipe posted on their website!

Our first attempt at mushroom risotto. Not bad! It came out very creamy and savory. I have to give much of the credit to B. He was the one who cooked the Arborio rice perfectly. The recipe can be found here.

This is probably my most savory and delicious feat yet! I wanted to make crispy fried chicken at first, but realized that I didn’t have a deep fryer. So the next best alternative was to try this Japanese Chicken Wings recipe that I found on AllRecipes.com.

This delightful lunch at The Botanist on Sloane Square in London almost made me forget the fact that I hate eating alone. But when dishes are this appetizing, who would want to share??? Top to bottom: Slow Cooked Duck Egg, Shredded Dorset Crab, and Foie Gras.

A fabulous contemporary Japanese dinner at Zuma in Knightsbridge, London. Top to bottom: Hamachi sashimi with some diced pepper and pickled garlic slice, ridiculously buttery seared teriyaki sea scallops topped with caviar, and the view from my seat.
